Places to look first
- Your public library: research help, workshops, free databases
- Small business development centers
- Community colleges: career and continuing education offices
- Local nonprofits focused on housing, tenants or seniors
Before you go
- Write your question in one sentence
- Bring the documents that relate to it
- Ask what the next step is before you leave
Volunteer
If you have a skill, these same groups often need volunteers to share it.
